le 6eme sens d'OENON

Ooh la la. A little bit of French haute cuisine in Tokyo. We had always intended to try at least one of the French Michelin starred eateries in Tokyo. A few of the French celebrity chefs have digs in Tokyo including Alain Ducasse, Joel Rubuchon and... um... Gordon Ramsay. Easier to go French in Tokyo than to fly to France for us Aussies. What we didn't expect was to get such good value out of this meal. It was reasonably priced by classy French joint standards in Australia let alone Tokyo. Sixieme put some of our more notable French restaurants in Sydney to shame on quality and value. Assuming you have the fixed price menu of course. The a'la carte menu starts to get pricey if you have foie gras entrees for example.
After little misstep when we arrived, we were shown to the busy cafe part of the restaurant with a cheaper menu, we sat down and were waited on by at least four very attentive servers. We also had the restaurant to ourselves not to mention personalised souvenir menus. We felt just a bit glamorous. le 6eme sens d'OENON is a classy French feed and has 1 Michelin star.
