Crikey! Zombie Steve on the dollar coin

Well I think it looks like zombie Steve - look at those dead eyes, the bared teeth. The croc looks more alive. But yes, Steve Irwin has been immortalised, again, this time with a commemorative $1 coin.

No I'm not kidding. Details from the Royal Australian Mint can be found here. So this is in addition to the commemorative stamp in 2007, the renaming of the Sea Shepherd "pirate" ship and November 15 which is now known as Steve Irwin day.

The catholic church has not announced whether or not Steve has achieved the required two miracles for canonisation.

Just what you need after night out with Lily

I should also mention that Lily was awesome. The sound was good. She was a delight. She appeared to be totally tickled to be there. She said it may well be the biggest solo show she has done. She'd been here two years ago to see Muse (I went to that show too) in the same venue while she was in Oz for the Big Day Out series of concerts and she said that she never thought she'd be back to play in a venue this size herself (5500). As I said, totally awesome show Lily. Epic Win! Well, except for one teeny little thing. We didn't get Alfie. :(

3D

I knew those knew 3D glasses i bought recently would come in handy. The latest episode of Chuck is in 3D.

Check both sides of the can...

Because sometimes there may be an English translation on the other side. On the other hand I may not have bought this sweet fizzy cultured milk drink if i'd read the label properly. Delicious. Very quiet in Emon tonight. I'm the only customer at the moment and I'm getting take away.
