Gion

Too early for dinner so we grab a coffee in a small coffee shop. Then we have a stroll past some street stalls serving hot sweet rice dumplings and wander up Shinbashi Dori in Gion, a traditional old street in the Geisha district where apparently Geishas still live today. Lots of restaurants and chauffeur driven cars but no Geishas this evening. This is just around the corner where we will be eating tonight which will be the next post.
