Roppongi Hills Mori Tower

The Roppongi Hills Mori Tower is only about 200 metres from where we're staying and is the 5th tallest building in Tokyo. It has terrific 360 degree views of Tokyo and that is why we shoot up the elevators to the 54th floor and observation deck. There is an open air observation deck on top of the building but unfortunately for us it is closed this evening.
From here we can see the bright orange Tokyo Tower which at 333 metres the tallest structure in Japan. It is mind boggling to think that when you're looking out over Tokyo something like 35 million people are working, sleeping, eating, playing and screwing away. Unbelievable isn't it. Within the Greater Tokyo Area 35,000,000 million people are going about their business completely oblivious to a couple of tourists gawking at their wonderful city.
