The next big festival I'm going to is the Big Day Out and it kicks off tomorrow (Friday) morning. A huge line-up again this year including Neil Young, The Prodigy, Arctic Monkeys, The Living End, TV On The Radio, Died Pretty... the list goes on. More than 30 bands and performers. Unfortunately no exotic harbour island locale for this show. Just the boring old Olympic Park site at Homebush. BOM reckon it's going to get up to 38 degrees (fracking hot) out in the western suburbs on Friday so I think we'll have to keep up the fluids and apply the sunscreen.
