For a double that came to be 27,000 yen per night. As far as I can tell it is now 15,500 yen per person per night for the same plan. The buffet plan now appears to be 13,500 yen per person. So the price difference appears to be about the same - about 2000 yen less for the buffet plan room. In Aussie dollars that\u0026#39;s about $25 per person more for the private dinner option. Well worth it.\u003Cbr \/\u003EWe went to Sounkyo again last year but didn\u0026#39;t stay at the Sounkyo Choyotei Hotel again. I think because it wasn\u0026#39;t available. We stayed at the Sounkaku Grand hotel.
